What is the difference between Peercraft and TalentLMS?
TalentLMS is one of the easier standalone LMS products to get running. If you need a self-contained training platform quickly and you do not have strong opinions about where it lives, it does the job without a long implementation.
The trade-off is the one every standalone LMS makes: it is another destination. Someone has to maintain it, populate it, and persuade people to go there. For internal training in particular, that last part is where most programmes quietly stall.
Peercraft takes the opposite approach. Because courses are native Confluence pages and sign-in uses the Atlassian identity employees already have, there is no second platform to adopt. The cost is a hard prerequisite: your company has to be on Confluence.

When TalentLMS is the better choice
- You need to train people outside your company — customers, contractors, or partners
- Your organisation does not use Confluence, or only part of it does
- You want a self-contained training platform that stands apart from your other tools
- You need to launch something in days and Atlassian is not part of your stack
- Selling courses or running an external academy is part of the plan
When Peercraft is the better choice
- Confluence is already where your company documents how things work
- You want to stop maintaining training content in two places
- Subject-matter experts should be able to publish training without an L&D gatekeeper
- Employees should not need a second login to complete required training
- Course content should sit next to the documentation it relates to
